Aliaxis Industrial Solutions app for iPhone and iPad

The Aliaxis Industrial Solutions is a multifunctional APP which provides the user with useful information for Industrial Piping systems. Two main sections are available: one related to Chemical resistance and the other to Design calculators. The Chemical compatibility guide is a reliable tool that can be used towards illustrating how various chemicals affect different plastic piping and elastomeric materials. This data includes reference to 14 common plastic pipe materials covering over 990 chemicals. The design calculators provide key information on engineering design with plastic piping namely Friction loss calculator, Maximum support spacing and bracketing, flow rate-velocity calculation, expansion and contraction as per the different operating conditions. This comprehensive data, now available for iOS, can be used by the engineering and end user communities as a guide toward helping make informed decisions on chemical compatibility and design of various piping systems for proper transport, storage and usage.
